Gift for Sis?

So this year I have my sister Kori for Christmas...And yes I know I was just complaining about people putting up their Christmas stuff but.....I do think that you need to shop WAY before Christmas..Any who...I'm stumped on what to get her. I have gotten her the last couple of years so now all of my awesome ideas are at a stand still. Uhggg! So if anyone has any suggestions it would be very appreciated!

Being scammed

So before the wedding Chris and I "thought" that we had all of our ducks in a row...photographer was one of the ducks...So we thought. We ended up getting scammed by them. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so annoyed about that whole thing still. Well mostly cause I'm still dealing with it. We signed a contract..which I might add to help anyone out here if the contract for just PICTURES is like signing for a home....DON'T GO WITH THEM THEY ARE ASSHOLES! It started out to be a "Prize" we won through Davide Bridal. I thought how awesome pics for free. But it still ended up costing...we were sooo stupid. Everything sounded awesome we paid our 200.00 bucks and then set up payment plan of 50.00 till the wedding....it was a done deal? So about 3 months later Chris tells me that every time he goes in to pay there is someone different at the desk. Which makes me kinda nervous so we check them out on the BBB and it looks like its legit place. A few more months go by and I call to set up an appointment for my bridals. First I'm told they need 40 days in advance to do them..I'm thinking I told you I wanted fall colors in my pics 40days before isn't going to work. I spoke with "Russ" on the phone he was rude and hostile on the phone with me. I ended up not having them do my bridals THANK GOD!! But after the way I was treated I felt really weird about it. The months went on and right before the wedding they called to have us talk with our photographer. First everything was fine then when I called to see if I could have them change the appointment by 1 hour they said that our photographer wasn't going to be there and that we could talk to Russ. Chris was like "Is Russ talking our pictures? NO" So he called and spoke with someone there first they lied about the photographer being out of town....next they called back and said that they could meet with us that night at 5. Also they had told me that the proofs to my pictures was going to be 800 instead of 600 dollars which was not told to me. I flipped we got Hollie to do our wedding...she was the same person that did my bridals. But now we are in a nasty fight of trying to get our money back. If anyone ever thinks they won something from Davids Bridal still research it...I felt really foolish for ending up losing this money! It was a big fiasco and heartache so please please don't use Studio One or Xpose photography!! They are cons!!!

Christmas already

OK I'm starting to like and I said LIKE not love Christmas...but mostly cause I enjoy decorating for it! But anyway I feel that each holiday should have its turn and one holiday is getting the big pass over. Thanksgiving!!! I just drove down my street to see that at least 4 houses in my neighborhood have up their lights..WTH!! Come on now people cant you wait a TINY bit? Like the day after Thanksgiving to get all of your Christmas crap out? I then went to my moms this weekend and lo and behold Its not just my neighborhood that is jumping the gun! A good family friend of ours has vomited her Christmas lights up all over the place..And I guess the house down the street from her is competing on who can have up their stuff first because they have out like 5 trees. I mean to each his own but really come on....I haven't even started getting Christmas gifts yet. Nor can I get in the mood to get them. I really cant wait for it to be over. But I am excited to decorate the house....go figure.

Family Party

So this year not only did my family have a wedding to plan AND I also did a surprise 35th wedding anniversary party for my parents.....We are also in charge of BOTH that's right folks BOTH of the family Christmas Parties...YIKES! If you ask me my mom already did her side last year. It was her sisters turn...but she didn't have a place to have it. SO my mom like a dummy offered up her home. Not a big deal....yeah right! My mothers sister was like the 3rd one through the door and the first one out...No help setting up tables, chairs, table clothes, napkins, blah and blah everyone knows what goes into setting up a dinner. And then she missed the best part the clean up.. (insert eye roll here) seriously! But any who....We are doing an 80's theme for both my mom wants to keep it as stress free as possible! I am in charge of the invitations and this is what I did for my dads invites this year....

OMG this took an act of god to get it put up here geeze blogger up loader! Any whoo here it is but now I noticed that you cant really read it! Oh well...

10-10-10 = FANTASTIC

So I don't have back all of my wedding pics just yet...well I do but they are the edited version. And everyone knows if the pic isn't edited then no one gives a crap. jk any way I decided to blog about the day while it was still fresh in my mind..or somewhat fresh its almost been a month but in a year who knows what I will forget about. I woke up that morning with Chris, we were going to try and be traditional and not see each other till the wedding but I don't sleep very well when he isn't there so we opted for just sleeping together. He got up got us some wedding breakfast which was McDonald's the breakfast for ALL brides and grooms..haha. And he was out the door and I didn't see him again till our actually wedding so it was almost like the same thing. I then got in the shower and headed to my hair appointment. I made sure that I had everything in my car the night before so I wasn't worried about where this or that was. Went to the hair appointment she did my hair BEAUTIFULLY! It really was amazing and if you want her for your special day or event let me know cause loved her. After my hair was done it was time to go to Tuscany I got there and did a once over making sure everything looked how I wanted it too. And then I was locked away in the brides room till the big show. Mellisa did my make up and she also did an amazing job I went to school with her and had noticed before I even thought about how or who would do my makeup how GREAT she looked. So when I saw something on her facebook page about her doing makeup I asked...she answered...and I looked fantastic!

I just love this pic above of Chris and I its not an edited one its actually a pic that a friend of ours took of us...But I just love it. So after we got ready and it was finally time to go!! Well wouldn't you know that the person that was suppose to marry us was LATE!! Really you would think I would be freaking out but I didn't. In fact everyone kept telling me how zen I was..go figure I'm sure that the 2 weeks before that they wouldn't be saying that but moving on ....Commissioner Kaunclen called said she would be 10 min late, she ended up being like 20 but oh well. I just felt bad for everyone in the room I guess it was super hot in there. And while everyone was waiting I was having my own little freak show in the brides room. My mom kept coming in and saying "Sara there are a lot of people out there." I kept thinking "Oh mom there cant be that many..." And every time she came in to tell me Peyton would start to freak out and say she needed to go to the bathroom...I guess she is a nervous shitter...How awesome for when she is in High School! So the more that people came in and said how packed it was the more nervous she got...So right before we are to go out she is near tears. And this part....this part makes me choke up every time I think about it. As me and the girls are getting ready to go out. I look down and Roo and Brooke are standing behind Pey...Both of them are leaning over her shoulder and saying to her...."Remember when we practiced yesterday and there was NO ONE in there...Just think of it like that, that we are the only ones in there...no one else. Its just us" I started to tear up!! Those girls fight like cats and dogs but the love each other too. It was so cute and so touching! Awww I love my girls! So the girls go down the isle and next its my turn. Debbie comes to get me and she tells me again "Now I just want you to be prepared there are A LOT of people in there...OK" I'm thinking OK whatever lets just get going these people are probably on their way out the door after waiting in a hot room for 20 extra min....So I start walking and all I can say is OMG!!!! I couldn't believe how many people were there, smiling, it was overwhelming how many people cared and wanted to be there. I felt so blessed, happy, excited, touched, and overwhelmed all at the same time. It was awesome!!! And if you remember a few months...well almost a year ago I was trying to decided if I wanted to just elope and take the money....Well this part of the day...it was my favorite part of the WHOLE ENTIRE DAY!! And I was soo happy that I didn't take the money, I was happy that we decided to get married like this. And all of the stress, freak outs, money, fighting,crying and hard work, this made it all worth it to me....I know you think I'm going to say the getting married part. And the exchanging of rings but it wasn't. It was totally having my dad walk me down the isle. Everyone standing up and looking at me....the feeling was AMAZING!! And the thing I remember the most was the smiling everyone was watching and smiling...That was my most favorite part of the whole entire day...my dad walking my down the isle..It may sound kinda selfish but I don't care. I loved it...and I will remember that feeling the rest of my life.

The rest of the night was kinda a blur..there was a lot of hugging...kissing...dancing...food...fun...cake...It was a great day. There were so many people that helped to make the day just what I was wanting. And so many people that came to congratulate us. I don't think I could have planned a better day!

A friend of mine told me about this website called picnic.com you can edit your pictures and make yourself slim YAHOO! So after I got back my wedding pictures I wanted to edit some of them and decided to check this site out..OMG I love it. There is so much you can do on it and its pretty cheap. I just paid the $4.95 for a month to see if I really liked it. So far so good...there was one snag but that was it. So my sister got her family pics taken and she wanted me to tweek them and make them look good. Tell me what you think....

Bridals

YES folks for those of you keeping track only 4 MORE DAYS till I get hitched....I have been crazy busy. Planning a wedding is freaking hectic. I knew there was a lot of work to be done but holy crap everything comes at you at one time. I have thankfully only had one melt down. So I'm very happy about that. And my mom and sisters have been life savors for me. In fact when I went and got my bridals at first I thought I would just go by my self....YEAH RIGHT!! Thank god my mom and sister went with me. I wanted to have the BFF club in the pics with me so the photographer took a few shots with the girls and I'm soo happy I did that. They are soo freaking cute. I posted them so you can enjoy...hehehe.

Halloween

So if you know me then you know how much i LOVE Halloween!!! I have already put up all of my decorations. I was afraid with the wedding that I wouldn't have time to get them up....Not to mention if the ass wipe down the street can put up his Christmas lights NOV. 1st then I can put up my Halloween stuff labor day weekend. HA! So last night my sister shay came over with her son and he kept on looking over his shoulder at everything...he is NOT going to be a Halloween fan like me. He's too much of a scardy cat! But I took some pics of my house and a pic of him enjoy!

Mean Girl

OK I know I haven't written in my blog forever and there is a reason.....I have turned into a mean, angry, irritable, stressed to the max....MEAN GIRL!!! I have never been this stressed out in my life. The closer our wedding gets the more I am a complete weirdo. No one ever tells you that there will come a day when planning something big, you cant even make simple decisions for yourself. I went to get my hair did today...I almost just told her do whatever you think will not make me look like an ass hole. I really and truly didn't want to make a decision...I had to force myself to do it...I don't like this new rude person I have become. I cry over every thing...if things don't go my way i flip out..God help the poor person that is in my path when it happens. Yes I'm a mean girl! And I don't like it. I can only hope that after this is over that I will be better...That Chris will still want to marry me....and that I will return to the good natured nice person I once was....OK some of that is a lie but this is my blog and I can say what I want on it...don't you judge me.....oooo sorry see what I mean I'm a nut ball!!! OK OK OK...So far the wedding is still on..Cross your fingers for me that Chris doesn't come to his senses and finally tell me to stuff it. But things are coming along pretty good.

Honeymoon: CHECK

Thank god that part is done...Chris and I will be going to an all inclusive resort in April with friends for our real honeymoon. But I still wanted to do something for us after the wedding so we are going to Jackson hole for a few days after the wedding...And to be honest about it...I CANT WAIT!!!! I'm more excited about Jackson hole than the actual wedding right now. I cant wait to have no where to be...no worries ....NO MAKING DECISIONS!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the part that I'm the most excited for. Hopefully after that trip I will be the nice sweet girl that I once was! Cross your fingers for me..............

Oregon Trip

Our trip to Oregon was soooo much fun....just what both of us needed. I cant wait to do it again. Chris drove the whole time...thank goodness. We listened to a book on cd, looked at the scenery, and just enjoyed being away from everything. So relaxing!

This was the B&B we stayed at well the breakfast we got when we woke up. It was so nice...We were a little worried when we first got there because there was no t.v. We ended up going to bed pretty early. But the next morning they totally made up for it..

This was the other scary part of being there...we were stalked the whole time by these squirrels..they ran around the trees above us and fought over whatever the other one had in its hand. It reminded me of my sisters Cristy & Shay.

I thought that this was cool...This tree had gotten so heavy it had twisted and fallen down...Oh and this was around the time that we found out that we couldn't use the pass we wanted to because it was still closed.......due to SNOW!!!! wth you would think that it almost being July it would have frozen, but we found out when we got to Creswell that the pass is only open 3 months out of the year.

Here is the bride. The morning of the wedding we both went and got our hair did. Hers turned out super cute...I didn't like mine till like 2 days later...I wanted the loose curl look...Not the Shirley temple decided to pin back her hair look...but oh well.

This is after the wedding we stopped off at a few winerys...So nice we got to taste the wine before we bought it. I got all sweet wines, I dont understand why anyone would want those dry all you can taste is the acohol wines. But the sweet wines were really good and very sweet... I had Chris stand off in the distance so I could get a shot of the vineyard. Geeze it was so beautiful there I wanted to just pull off and find a room close by and sit and drink the bottle of wine we had just bought...but alas we had to keep going.

And I'm glad we didn't stop cause we ate at this place and seriously it is one of the best places I have EVER eaten. Its in a tiny town called Pendelton Or. Its a really cute little town but if your not paying attention to it you almost dont see it. Its kinda hidden in a little valley. We ate at Hamblins OMG if your ever there and you like steak go in and eat...DELOUSE!!!!

They also had kind of a old time western theme, I'm sure you can tell by this pic and the one above. But I like antiques and old stuff so I had Chris pose for a couple of pic on the inside.
