How can you go from one day to feeling great the air is clean the sky is blue and the sun is making the snow sparkle to this day.......deary and cloudy...Not to mention sleepy. I cant seem to wake up enough today. I'm sure part of it was I was running late so I had to not get my caffeine fix. So now I sit here at my desk nodding off and trying to think of a list of loves. When it came to me. I did the one about my hubby and to be honest I was starting to run out of the general I love..I mean the next list was going to be I love that the mail man delivers my mail...lame. So I thought to my self take a member of my family and list 10 things I love about them! Great idea Sara! So I have decided that is just what I will do. I have already done my hubby, I may do him again there are just so many things I love about him. But today I will do my sister Kori as my spotlighted loves....So here we go.

What I love about my Sister Kori...

1. How smart she is...she works at a title company and she is just very quick and smart about it. She knows things off the top of her head that I have no idea about. She helped me immensely when I bought my house and I have always appreciated it.

2. How determined she is...we tease her all the time that she loves money (which she does) But I also admire that she knows what she wants and is willing to take chances to get it.

3. That she is a good mother...When she got pregnant with Maddy she was so scared about being a single mom. But she took to it like she had done it before. She loves her kids very much and she wants the best for them.

4. How funny and silly she is...I get a call at least 2 -3 times a month with a funny story or something funny that has happened at work...and when all of us get together we laugh at everything.

5. I love that she is so forgiving about things...I also feel like this is a down fall for her because she is so forgiving. I think that people take advantage of her willingness to forgive so easily and they walk all over her again and again. I'm not like that at all I have a hard time with forgiveness (which I don't think is a good thing I have been trying to work on it.) But she is so soft hearted she cant stay angry at people for long.

6. How tender hearted she is...she still cry's at sad movies or is touched by someones personal story and has no shame about crying in front of others. If she is touched by something you did you will know it....

7. That she is outspoken VERY outspoken...she will tell you like it is (something all of us girls got from our mother and she in turn got it from hers.) But if you have crossed her or one of her kids watch out she is tender hearted but that is only after she has ripped you a new one. But you always know where you stand with her.

8. How beautiful she has gotten...when we were little people used to think we were twins. We are only 14 months apart so we were close in age...but looking back at pictures the only thing that i see that looks the same is we both had our UGLY PERMS (there is a place in hell for whom ever invented the fuggly ass Afro perm and red curlers.) And my mom would dress us the same...But since we have gotten older she has blossomed into a beautiful woman and now when people will ask "Are you Kori Cannons sister? Cause you look like her." It makes me feel good because I think she is beautiful.

9. This one I'm sure I will post with all my sisters but she can be so angry with me...we aren't speaking to each other angry. But I know if I needed her she would be there in a heart beat and visa verse. Any time there is a party, death, shower, birthday, wedding, any thing my sisters are right in the middle of it helping with whatever they can. And I know it will be like that forever.

10. She is my venter...I can call her and vent to her about husband, mother, work, friends, Pretty much anything.. She will tell me if she thinks I'm being silly or she will just listen. I love that I have someone to vent to that will keep it to their self and she knows its the same way with me when she needs to vent.

What a Gorgeous DAY!

So for people that read this...(if there are any) it snowed again. That is one thing about Utah weather its unpredictable for sure. But its BEAUTIFUL out side. On the way to work this morning the sun was shining and it makes the snow sparkle...so pretty! I was walking to the garage and when I walked into the backyard we have this huge tree (on a side note when its dark at night it reminds me of the tree that takes the boy in poltergeist) But snow was coming down from it so it looked like it was lightly snowing...So beautiful. I LOVE days like this. So with that said here we go.

I love....

1. How beautiful of a day it is today and that I am alive to see it.

2. That I didn't have to drive far to get to work. But I do drive far enough to look at how gorgeous of a day it is.

3. For the Internet...without it there are a few people that I wouldn't have kept in contact with that are very important to me. But with facebook and Yahoo IM I can talk to them almost every day.

4. That I live close to good doctors and that if I'm sick with a cold its just a matter of driving to get the things I need to make me better. Its not a life or death situation.

5. How creative and talented the people that I surround myself with are. I think about it all the time and a lot of my friend are VERY talented with something be it fashion, photography, interior design, skiing, drawing, intelligence. And I don't feel like I have a big talent but they do inspire me to find one.

6. Hats and that I look OK in them. I only say that because I have very very very thin hair and it gets oily about 2 seconds after I'm out of the shower. I have read that washing your hair every day isn't good for you skin..not to mention I don't shower every day (judge if you must but I don't) because of my very dry skin...If showered every day all you would see is a pile of skin flakes on the floor. I'm not saying that if I go and run (hahaha yes I know bad example) and sweat and stink that I think to myself....nope showered this morning gotta wait another day before you shower again. Wow but back to hats I love hats.

7. My nails...My mom has pretty nails and that is one thing that I did get from her that I like. They are strong nails and they grow pretty long and stay long. So I don't have to get fake nails if I don't want to.

9. Snuggling up on a cold night like last night and watching TV with my hubby.

10. Did I mention how GORGEOUS it was outside today!!

Blah Monday

Well the dinner my hubby made was awesome! He did a really good job. I can always tell when its really good...cause even the kids eat it. My niece Pey went up of rice like 3 different times...HEY PIG! But it was good and he did a very good job on the sushi! My Family devoured it and the the cake he got was yummy too. Baskin Robbins cake only thing was he let me dumb sister go and get it and it had "Happy Birthday Poodle" On it. For some reason my sister Shay calls me poodle. Who knows why she just started calling me that. She calls my other sister Cristy "TEENER" Which I think is hilarious and Cristy hates....so maybe that is why I'm called "poodle" Oh well. I also got my Chi and a blender which I wanted from Shay and I got a cute little skull Thermos too. So it was a nice day. Well lets get on with it. I have decided to do a special one about my hubby since he was so awesome about making such a great dinner for me.


I love....

1. His cooking..such a yummy cook. He is fast at it and its always Delicious.

2. That he is a little shy...I am not shy at all and he gets quite around people he doesn't know...I think its cute.

3. I love his lips. My hubby has some of the prettiest lips I have ever seen on a guy...I just love them.

4. That he is so ticklish..Which is nice for me cause then he never wants a back rub or foot rub but I get them all the time. YEAH for me.

5. How silly he can get with me.

6. That he is so funny...Being funny to me is a huge turn on and he makes me laugh at least once a day with something silly or funny he says.

7. How thoughtful he is...he is always helping my parents or brother or sisters and even my grandma with electrical stuff. He doesn't complain about it he just does it...so sweet!

8. How smart he is. He is soo good with numbers and electronics....so smart he just gets it. I have no clue when it comes to either.

8.That he still opens the door for me to the car when I get in.

9. How he likes to hold my hand at night when we watch TV

10. That he loves me and only me!

Friday is a happy day!

Yes boys and girls its Friday the day that most people get excited for. Well I guess unless you have to work on Saturdays and Sundays then you probably don't give a big rats a$$. But I don't work on Saturday or Sunday. And i get homemade sushi this weekend from my awesome hubs! And belated birthday gifts so it should make for a good weekend. I hope everyone else has a great weekend also!! But lets get started on the love.

I love....

2. That I had NO cavities on today check up that is a huge plus!

3. That today was BEAUTIFUL outside...spring is in the air I can feel it. I hope I'm not jinxing it!

5. I'm almost through the pile of paper work on my desk.

6. I get my new Chi this weekend...its my birthday gift from my sisters and mom!

7. I have worked so much overtime this week now I don't have to take vacation days for the two days that I missed last week...SO I still have 75 hours left yahoo!! I will need them.

8. I'm in a really good mood today happy, excited, feel good mood.

9. I have a free night tonight where I'm not doing anything...which means I have a night for me time.

10. HELLO ITS FRIDAY!!!

Busy Busy

It has been a busy day today. Here they are short and sweet!



I love.....


1. That i forgot the card that I am suppose to do so my sweet hubby is running them out to me.

2. That i left my one and ONLY umbrella in the house the last time I used it so when today's rain storm hit I had an umbrella to the garage.

3. That the two friends on my chin are starting to fade...Thank god!

4. That we are busy at work..which means we are still in business.

5. I don't want to jinx myself but that the printer hasn't jammed once today!

6. My mom is going to help me with the invitations that I have to make tonight.

7. The smell of my lunch is starting to fade from my clothes and I don't smell as much like El matador anymore.

8. That I have my very own bathroom at work...because the guys is SCARY!

9. The complements the guys gave me today about my sparkly blue top I got for my birthday.

10. That this week is almost down for the count!!

Hump Day!

Holy Moley this week is flying by for me...which is good cause here comes the weekend. My hubby was sick last weekend and wasn't able to make dinner for my Birthday so I get an extended birthday and he is making dinner this Sunday! AND drum roll please dadadadadada he is making my favorite SUSHI!!!! Yep he learned how to make it and its is delicious. One thing that bugs me about him though is that after he makes this awesome meal and you tell him how delicious it was. He says "hmm it was OK" Uhmm hello it was WONDERFUL!!! Not just OK. I really wish that he would go back into the food industry. He is so good at it...But he tells me that he doesn't want to cause then he wont cook at home. And I really don't want that to happen...So I guess I will just keep my mouth shut and enjoy his cooking. Well lets get to the positive vibes!!

I love...

1. When time flies by at work...Lets face it no one wants to be at work..well OK maybe I don't want to be at work so when time flies by and I look up and its almost time to go...totally excited!

2. My wedding ring. I know that I have blogged about it before but I really do love it. I tell my husband all the time that I love the ring almost more than him...He laughs and tells me he knows.

3. That my husband is trying to quite chewing. He was suppose to be done chewing before we got married but he turned into the incredible hulk at times and was a giant ass. So I told him that I was stressed and he was stressed so he could try after the wedding. Well he is trying and I hope I'm not jinxing him by talking about it! But Good luck honey.

4. My phone cover my mom bought me for Christmas. Its all glittery and cute with a sliver skull and cross bones on it. Totally me. Thanks mom.

5. That my bosses are so lax about my time. I'm late almost everyday and I took a long lunch today. I feel really guilty about it..And I need to be more on time. But me and morning are not the best of friends. If I could just wake up and have someone do my hair and make up in the morning, pick out some clothes to wear and make my espresso....well I would be set. Instead my mornings are me negotiating how much longer I can press the snooze button...If you don't wash your hair and just wear a hat you can sleep in for 10 more min...stupid crap like that.

6. Bath and Body hand wash...But not just any it has to be the foam kind...The other kind gets this gross little hard stuff in the spout and it gets all over if your not careful.

7. They way I look in glasses...I got these newer glasses a few months ago. And I really like the way I look in them. I think I look so much smarter. I'm mean no one really needs to know that I think a balanced check book is good if I'm within a 20 dollars of the what I really have in there. They can just think wow she looks super smart! haha

8. Home made cards my friend made this one for my birthday and I just love it. I think its so cute!

9. Dear Prudence. She is kinda like Dear Abby only hilarious. I laugh at her responses to people all the time. She is blunt and to the point but obviously loves sarcasm as I do. If you want to check her out here is her site. http://www.slate.com/id/3531/landing/1/

10. That I have two lovely friends growing on my chin...GAG!! I really don't love this one but I keep feeling them on there and its gagging me out! I love feeling like I'm back in High School again. Geeze!

March already!

I cant believe that February is over and its MARCH!! Holy cow where does the time go. I have a few more projects going...Baby showers, Pictures soon, A wedding, and lunch with friends..So I have the feeling that this month will fly by like the last one did....But lets get to it.

I love....

1. Throwing a party, or shower. They are so much fun but lets be real they are a lot of work. And for some reason I feel that things have to be perfect and if they aren't the whole day I'm thinking to my self..its not prefect its not perfect. But I still love to throw a party!

2. Weda I really love that girl. I don't think I have talked about her before but she is my housekeeper and my savior she cleans my house every two weeks and I just love it! I come home to a nice clean house...it smells good, my sheet are changed, floors mopped, tub cleaned, vacuumed, nice house. I LOVE that girl!!

3. Hot toddies...OK well my very own version of a hot toddy. I found these packets of Mott's apple cider that you can mix with hot water. So after a crappy ,cold or super stressed day...I get out the mix and some hot water and then depending on how crappy of a day it was also depends on on how much of the next ingredient I put in but.... some Jim Beam Whiskey and I pour that into the cider...Yeah I know its nothing like a hot toddy but its my version and it totally relaxes you on a crappy stress filled cold day.

4. Good hair days..And the reason for this one is cause today was a bad hair day..pulled up in a bun with a bandanna on so not cute. But that is why every girl loves a good hair day.

5. Red hair...my sister Shay has beautiful red hair. I wish that my hair would have stayed more red instead of the mouse brown color that it turned into but I love the way that red hair looks its so pretty.

6. The salads at Bajios salads...Had one for lunch and the are delicious I highly recommend them.

7. Coupons and that you can print them off line. I save so much money by just doing a quick search to see if they may or may not have a handy coupon. So exciting saving money...well at least I think so.

8. That its almost St. Patty's Day..I really do like St. Patrick's day. A few of our close friends go to the bar and get green beer from Bostons...its so yummy. I'm not really a beer drinker but go to Bostons and get a beer from them. They freeze their mugs so when you get your beer there is a little bit of ice in it...mmmmmmmmmmm

10. That spring is trying to get here. I'm not a huge fan of spring its maybe my 2nd favorite season, But I do like that you don't have to have on 35 layers of clothing to walk from your house to the car. So bring on the Spring!
