Cant sleep!

So here I sit at 6:37 in the morning not being able to sleep. Chris's phone went off around 4 a.m. with a text from his cousin....HELLO unlike you he sleeps with someone else in his room!!! Geeze people are soo rude sometimes. I mean unless you have a reason to send a text that early, like its an emergency or someone is dying. SEND IT LATER!!! Obviously the lack of sleep is getting to me but I really don't sleep well as it is. I'm a bit jealous that Chris can fall asleep and stay asleep pretty much any where and any time. While I on the other hand have to prep myself with a sleeping aid each night and then try to fall asleep to the "sweet sounds" of him farting, and snoring all night GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!! Seriously who thought that sharing a room with someone else was a good idea was an idiot! OK I can see that its official I'm just tired and grumpy. But I'm pretty sure that anyone would if they had fallen asleep at 1230 only to wake at 3, try to go back to sleep only to hear the annoying phone go off......Oh here is attempt # 567 to fall back to sleep!

Oregon Trail

So as I had said in one of my previous posts Chris and I will be going to Oregon for a friend of mines wedding...SO EXCITED....not just to see how happy my friend is and to see her on her big day...But to also get the hell out of dodge. I need a break and this cant come soon enough. Chris and I will be heading up right after work on the 24th. I decided to look for a B&B on the way for us to stop at......and I found one!

This cute little place is called the Idaho Heritage Inn. I thought it was adorable and they do a gourmet breakfast in the morning so that's even better. We will be staying in the Judge's Chambers.

I love little places like this....it reminds me of when I went to England and Ireland with Lindsey...They had so many B&B's that were cute like this....and we stayed at some really cute ones. Ahhhh being young and having money to blow how fun....OK I was 30 at the time that was only 4 years ago but still. I didn't have a mortgage or really anything of value, I lived in Vegas and didn't have a worry in the world...fast forward 4 years mortgage and getting married. I really have NO idea how people with kids do it! Any who...I think this will be a fun little adventure for the both of us. We both need some time off and I think a nice drive and hanging out with good friends will be just what we need! I will post the pics of the happy day when they become available! :)

Sew

So I don't know how to sew...OK well in High School I sewed a bag and a pillow....but that was it. And for my wedding I wanted the damask print to be on the tables but they only had black and white...no damask...Well thank god for google and the Internet cause I found some damask print that I love and it matches my book and pen that I will have at the book counter....But I'm still at the I don't sew part...BUT a lovely woman and family friend does and she is AWESOME!!! So I have asked her if she would help me and she said that she could YAY!!! This is the print and I love it......

So cute I love this....And it totally matches my book and pen that I ordered...but still haven't gotten....Oh well I still have OMG WOW I didn't even notice but its 4 months to the day of my wedding date...wow!! Any way this is my book and pen set...

Then I got some matching baskets to go with it for the girls!! It will look awesome! I'm getting more and more excited as the days go by...And Chris's mom and dad came last weekend for a visit. I was really surprised at how much his mom wants to help with. So that is great too!

Things I found that I like!

So I noticed when I was blog stocking it has been 4 weeks since I last posted something...weird!! Just like my journal at home. Oh wait I never write in that.....Any way nothing has really happened that is worth mentioning.....OK well maybe a few things. My bridezilla friend got married. It was beautiful and she was beautiful, it was a lovely wedding. I leave in 15 days to go to another wedding in Oregon for another friend. And I am helping plan a surprise 30th birthday party for my youngest sister Shay. So I guess there are a few things that have happened, going to happen and blah....But I did think of some things that I just started using that I really like and feel is worth mentioning. The first one is my BRA!!! Yeah for finding a more comfortable bra....

So this is the bra...well mine is in black but I am going to go back and get this color and a white and maybe another black. But this bra is sooo comfortable I love it. Normally I cant find one that is comfortable for an entire day. I am running home and hucking it off. But this one 1) Stays in place. 2) Doesn't make me feel like I have a tourniquet on. 3) Its very flattering under my shirts and dresses....well I think it is. 4) It holds the girls up pretty good for being strapless. So I bought it at Lane Bryant and I love it..I suggest it for all the women out there that HATE slipping straps and riding up cups.

My next thing that I found that I love are

I have been wanting to whiten my smile for awhile but never have done anything about it. Till one day I sat and talked with a girl that was getting married soon (so of coarse we were talking weddings) but I noticed how white her smile was and how good it looked. So I decided to do it...I spoke with my dentist about it but that was like 300 bucks....totally out of my price range. So I tried these and I love them. You wear them for 30mins BEFORE you brush and then PRESTO...white teeth. OK not the first time you use them but I have been using them for a bit now and have noticed a whiter smile.

OK I have one more post to post today and its on a topic that I know I have talked to people about before...but this blog is like my journal so I'm going to write it out!!!! I have a facebook account and normally I love getting on it and reading about everyone lives. How they are doing, how big their kids are, who is having a bad day...funny posts, you know the normal stuff that people write. What I don't like is people that are SOO FAKE and write about how much they love each other EVERY DAY ON THE FACEBOOK! Now I know that I shouldn't care but seriously it bugs so bad!! I mean come on telling people that your hubby cleaned up the barf the dog left on the floor and let you sleep...cool! Ranting about how in love you are and how awesome you think each other is EVERY DAY LAME!!! Not to mention fake...I have started wondering if these people are trying to convince themselves or everyone else of their undying love!

Now I know that some of you out there may think this sounds like the rant of a jealous woman....but its not! Especially when I know both people and happen to know for a fact that I wouldn't trade an hour in to be in their shoes...as lovey dovey as it sounds....The man would drive me to drink! And the girl well she I am used to so I can't say too much!! But geeze....I would love to be like "tone it down"...or "nobody cares"....or better yet "Who are you trying to fool?" But I don't I just read in silence and then roll my eyes and think HOW FAKE!!!!!!

To gift card or not to gift card that is the question....

So this year happens to be the year of the bride.....well at least in my little word I have two different friends that are getting married this year besides me. And I really like it one because you get to plan with your friends and two you get to learn from their mistakes...hehehehe! Which just this last weekend I learned a few different things...1.) Be a gracious bride...people don't HAVE to get you a gift and if and when they do, even if its not something you want or like....BE THANKFUL!!! When you aren't, you only look like a bridezilla not to mention a rude and mean person even if your not.....2.) My friend had a gift card shower which I thought was cool...till I got there. I had forgotten that half of the fun is watching the gifts being opened...Or even better being the one that gets to open them...So she had ONE gift to open and the rest were just gift cards... I mean to each is own but it made me decide that I wanted to register somewhere, so that when I do have a shower it will be fun to open the gifts.:) 3.) Try not to piss off everyone that is trying to help you....ie if you have planned your bridals 3 different times and they have been cancelled 3 different times because of weather. Don't get upset if everyone hasn't marked off all of their days to help you...if you need more ways not to piss people off reread #1. I'm starting to get super excited for my wedding and for my friends weddings also...I have started getting a few things planned like flowers and my cake....SO EXCITED to see both of them. And this month on the 15th Chris and I are going to taste some cakes also see what we like and what we want our cake to taste like!
