HOLY MOLY!!!!

I love it when you already have planned how your week will go and then its NOTHING like you planned. Oh and just so we are clear the "love it" part was sarcasm.....I had planned that on Monday get some clothes done for our trip, start to pack a little, ya know just at least start to get ready to head out of town....But no Sunday night Chris goes to turn off the lights and see's a mouse. NOW I know that some of you may think big deal...but I used to live in a farm house. And since then I have a bit of a phobia about mice. So if you want to see me turn into a complete girl with the sobbing and hysterics just watch me when there is a mouse in my house or car problems. Any way so the last three days have been about trying to capture this mouse and get it the hell out of my house. And yes finally we did.....THANK GOD!! But now here I am with one night now to get everything together and I feel rushed, which I hate feeling. We leave tomorrow and seriously I cant flipping wait to get out of here. I have been getting things wrong at work, Chris and I got into a fight over a stupid screen door (I think the mouse got in under our back door so I had Chris put up a screen door so it cant happen again!!!) And I have been getting spring fever here pretty bad. So 4 maybe 5 days away will be just what I need seriously. Oh and on other news I finally got a new phone. I really like it its a little techy for me and Chris got the same phone and he loves it so that makes me happy. I will post pics of the happy couple when I get back....if I come back hahahaha!

Wendy & Anthony

As I posted before my friend Wendy is getting married....the whole reason for the trip to Oregon. Well we have been talking about weddings now for like over a year. She has been engaged for awhile but he still had to tie up some loose ends with his ex wife. So FINALLY now on June 26th, 2010 she will be walking down the isle. I'm soo excited for her. She is a really good friend and one of those friends that I don't have to talk to every day and we still can pick up right where we left off. (I LOVE friends like that sometimes I can be flaky.) Any who....when we were talking weddings she told me that she wasn't going to have a wedding video. I for one LOVE the wedding videos of people. I love pictures in general. So I spoke with her sissy, asked if she thought Wendy would like it. And I made my own, from pictures that I had and some that I took off of facebook. The only crappy thing was I didn't have any of either of them when they were little but I still think it turned out great. I hope she loves it, I'm giving it to her as part of a surprise......Any way here it is I hope you enjoy it!

Monday Blues

So yesterday wasn't the best day for me at work...Bad day as soon as I got there. When I screw up (and I do it what seems like a lot) if its something big then I feel really bad. It will bug me the whole day....if its small big deal. But yesterday it was a bad day from the beginning. And it seemed to drag on and on. So after work I went home and made me a few white Russians. DELICIOUS!!!! It totally helped me relax and let go of the work garbage. Now its not like I do this ever night...In fact this is the first time since I was like in my 20's that I have been loaded on week night and had to work the next day. But it was nice to relax and not worry about all the muck ups at work....And then (this is the best part) Chris came home and made me spaghetti...He is so awesome sometimes. He even made it with the little bit of angle hair pasta that was left cause he knows that I love it soo much. It was so yummy.....and needed since I had downed 3 white Russians on a empty stomach. But I just want to write about how much I appreciate him and the things that he does for me. I vent a lot on here about him, but rarely talk about the nice things he does do for me so here it goes..

He is positive, more than me

He doesn't like scary movies but will watch them with me.

He knows exactly how I like my popcorn and diet coke at the movies and always orders it for me.

He calls me on my bull shit.

He makes me laugh so hard.

He knows he is nerdy and embraces it.

He tells me how beautiful he thinks I am...even when I have in a greasy ponytail.
He has made me sushi even thought he HATES seafood.

He rubs my back almost every time I ask him.

He can tell when I'm in a mood and most the time will back off.

He is very very very techy and can fix almost anything with a computer, TV, VCR,........the list goes on and on..

WE are getting to be better team then just me on one side and he on another.

He always puts the toilet seat down.

He buys me flowers just because.

He lets me dress him...his style is a little scary.

He helps my parents and grandparents out if they need it with WHATEVER they need help with.

He plays with my nieces and nephews like he has known them forever.

He will drop everything to come and help me out.

He will drop everything to come and help one of my sisters out.

He works really hard on controlling his temper.

He tries really hard on cleaning the house.

He will listen to my gossip or family drama with interest.

He lets me pick what we listen to in the car on long drives.

Those are just some of the reasons that I love him....there are a ton more. And on a side note...for our wedding the place I'm getting married will do a wedding video for us. Well here are some of his kids photos that I will have in the video...some are cute and some are funny. My favorite is his totally 80's rocker hair...too funny!

Cant sleep!

So here I sit at 6:37 in the morning not being able to sleep. Chris's phone went off around 4 a.m. with a text from his cousin....HELLO unlike you he sleeps with someone else in his room!!! Geeze people are soo rude sometimes. I mean unless you have a reason to send a text that early, like its an emergency or someone is dying. SEND IT LATER!!! Obviously the lack of sleep is getting to me but I really don't sleep well as it is. I'm a bit jealous that Chris can fall asleep and stay asleep pretty much any where and any time. While I on the other hand have to prep myself with a sleeping aid each night and then try to fall asleep to the "sweet sounds" of him farting, and snoring all night GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!! Seriously who thought that sharing a room with someone else was a good idea was an idiot! OK I can see that its official I'm just tired and grumpy. But I'm pretty sure that anyone would if they had fallen asleep at 1230 only to wake at 3, try to go back to sleep only to hear the annoying phone go off......Oh here is attempt # 567 to fall back to sleep!

Oregon Trail

So as I had said in one of my previous posts Chris and I will be going to Oregon for a friend of mines wedding...SO EXCITED....not just to see how happy my friend is and to see her on her big day...But to also get the hell out of dodge. I need a break and this cant come soon enough. Chris and I will be heading up right after work on the 24th. I decided to look for a B&B on the way for us to stop at......and I found one!

This cute little place is called the Idaho Heritage Inn. I thought it was adorable and they do a gourmet breakfast in the morning so that's even better. We will be staying in the Judge's Chambers.

I love little places like this....it reminds me of when I went to England and Ireland with Lindsey...They had so many B&B's that were cute like this....and we stayed at some really cute ones. Ahhhh being young and having money to blow how fun....OK I was 30 at the time that was only 4 years ago but still. I didn't have a mortgage or really anything of value, I lived in Vegas and didn't have a worry in the world...fast forward 4 years mortgage and getting married. I really have NO idea how people with kids do it! Any who...I think this will be a fun little adventure for the both of us. We both need some time off and I think a nice drive and hanging out with good friends will be just what we need! I will post the pics of the happy day when they become available! :)

Sew

So I don't know how to sew...OK well in High School I sewed a bag and a pillow....but that was it. And for my wedding I wanted the damask print to be on the tables but they only had black and white...no damask...Well thank god for google and the Internet cause I found some damask print that I love and it matches my book and pen that I will have at the book counter....But I'm still at the I don't sew part...BUT a lovely woman and family friend does and she is AWESOME!!! So I have asked her if she would help me and she said that she could YAY!!! This is the print and I love it......

So cute I love this....And it totally matches my book and pen that I ordered...but still haven't gotten....Oh well I still have OMG WOW I didn't even notice but its 4 months to the day of my wedding date...wow!! Any way this is my book and pen set...

Then I got some matching baskets to go with it for the girls!! It will look awesome! I'm getting more and more excited as the days go by...And Chris's mom and dad came last weekend for a visit. I was really surprised at how much his mom wants to help with. So that is great too!

Things I found that I like!

So I noticed when I was blog stocking it has been 4 weeks since I last posted something...weird!! Just like my journal at home. Oh wait I never write in that.....Any way nothing has really happened that is worth mentioning.....OK well maybe a few things. My bridezilla friend got married. It was beautiful and she was beautiful, it was a lovely wedding. I leave in 15 days to go to another wedding in Oregon for another friend. And I am helping plan a surprise 30th birthday party for my youngest sister Shay. So I guess there are a few things that have happened, going to happen and blah....But I did think of some things that I just started using that I really like and feel is worth mentioning. The first one is my BRA!!! Yeah for finding a more comfortable bra....

So this is the bra...well mine is in black but I am going to go back and get this color and a white and maybe another black. But this bra is sooo comfortable I love it. Normally I cant find one that is comfortable for an entire day. I am running home and hucking it off. But this one 1) Stays in place. 2) Doesn't make me feel like I have a tourniquet on. 3) Its very flattering under my shirts and dresses....well I think it is. 4) It holds the girls up pretty good for being strapless. So I bought it at Lane Bryant and I love it..I suggest it for all the women out there that HATE slipping straps and riding up cups.

My next thing that I found that I love are

I have been wanting to whiten my smile for awhile but never have done anything about it. Till one day I sat and talked with a girl that was getting married soon (so of coarse we were talking weddings) but I noticed how white her smile was and how good it looked. So I decided to do it...I spoke with my dentist about it but that was like 300 bucks....totally out of my price range. So I tried these and I love them. You wear them for 30mins BEFORE you brush and then PRESTO...white teeth. OK not the first time you use them but I have been using them for a bit now and have noticed a whiter smile.
